Kids grow up fast. Luckily, it's easy to take digital snapshots to share with family and friends. For many people I've met, these images are sufficient. Others are looking for images taken in a studio environment. These folks often get great results from JCPenney or Sears portrait studios. In fact, I've taken advantage of this type of studio myself for quick and easy family portraits that actually include me in them! However, many people have discovered the challenge of capturing the beauty and enthusiasm of a child or family group in a studio setting.
